It is the last day of the month, and Samsung is rushing to roll out this month's security update for several Galaxy smartphones and tablets. After releasing the August 2026 security patch for the Galaxy S23 series in South Korea, the company has now released it for the Galaxy S24 series.
The new software update, which brings the August 2026 security patch to the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, and the Galaxy S24 Ultra, is now available in European countries. It comes with firmware version S92xBXXS6DZH2 and has a download size of over 400MB (though the exact size differs slightly across the three models).

If you live in Europe and own a Galaxy S24 series phone, check for the new update on your device. You can do that by opening the Settings app, navigating to Software update, and tapping Check for updates. Make sure that your phone has at least 30% of battery charge left to proceed with the software update installation process.
This update could be released in other countries worldwide later today or in the next few days.
